Pakistan is the land of love, peace and hospitality is also a land of light, spiritual endowment, a resting place for many spiritual saints from all religions, be it the Sufi mystics of Islam, Hindu Tiraths dating back as 3000 B.C, and also the birth place of Sihkism. Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikh religion was born near Lahore in 1469 A.D.

Guru Nanak travailed extensively for about 15 years to attain real wisdom by meditation and study. In the later days of his life he settled down at Kartarpur, in Narowal Tahsil of Sialkot District and died at the age of 70 years.
